WARNER MUSIC AND COMP MUSIC ANNOUNCE EXCLUSIVE LICENSING AGREEMENT.
Comp Music to manufacture and distribute Warner Music repertoire in Ukraine
Warner Music Group (WMG) and Comp Music announced an exclusive licensing agreement which will see Comp Music market, manufacture and distribute WMG’s repertoire on physical formats in the Ukraine. ? The deal is effective immediately and covers both new and catalog releases.
Comp Music will manufacture special Cyrillic versions of Warner Music products at manufacturing plants approved by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI). In addition, Comp Music will import premium-priced international CD, DVD and LP product for high-end retail in the country.?
Comp Music will exclusively collect public performance fees for Warner Music recordings from the local IFPI-approved collection societies. Comp Music and Warner Music will also work together on other activities such as synchronizations as well as third party and branded compilations.?
