Best Ukrainian Ballads 2005
Everybody loves ballads. Some of the artists are well-known thanks to their unforgettable ballads - Scorpions, Roxette etc.
This compilation presents lyrical songs of the famous Ukrainian performers. Edgy “Choven” by Alexander Ponomarev and "Severnoe siyanie" by Eugeniya Vlasova, surprisingly delicate “Ya tebe lyublyu” by Ruslana, blue "Sl’ozy" by Talita Kum are capable of involving anybody into feelings. Here we also have uptempo "Ne Chekay" by Mad Heads XL, folk-punk "Sestry" by Haydamaky, and introvert “Vmeneeman” by Krykhitka Tsahes. Interesting that really organic are two tracks by Nik_To "Embrio Razor" (meditative) and electro-folk Max Chorny "Koliskova".
NOTA BENE!!!!! There are three debut on this CD. Arachnophobia “Parfumy” (added a quite ironic note into the compilation), Kontrabanda "tebe ne trymayu" – peacockery saga about the loneliness (Vaya condios and Portishead). And at last U-Ra “Samotniy” – the song by the ex-DAT members.
