December 2002 Ruslana signed the contract with Comp Music/ EMI (majot label’s EMI’s lisensee in Ukraine) and started the new record sessions for “Dyki Tantsi” right away. The English proffy had shown the interest in the music of the singer and Ruslana obtained the invitation to make mixing of the album at the British studio “Real World” which belongs to Peter Gabriel. The album was released on June 11th in 2003 in Ukraine. "Dyki Tantsi" – is the modern compilation of the ancient ethnic hutsul tunes (rhythms & dances) and new trends in in pop and rock music. Dyki Tantsi"  - is the fundamental ethnic rhythms together with ultra-contemporary styles.

October 3rd 2003 – Ruslana’s new album “Dyki Tantsi” reached the platinum status, that means that the official sales are 100’000 copies. Besides this result was reached during 100 days without the supporting tour! It was really historical event for Ukraine.

December 17th 2003 was the day when Ruslana was awarded with “Platinum CD” prize for “Dyki Tantsi”. It was the first Ukrainian Prize Prize. Stefan Kravchek (regional director of international organization IFPI, Brussels) presented the award to Ruslana. The success of the album is not only the Ruslana’s victory but it is the challenge to the audio piracy in the country. It was the case when in August and September of 2003 the biggest quantity of different and numerous pirate copies of “Dyki Tantsi” CDs and MCs were redistered. Сomp music/EMI together with the Ministry of Internal Affirs and the professional who deal with IFPI have accomplished the special actions in order to control and cease the expansion of counterfeit products.

Ruslana managed to create the video for the song from the “Dyki Tantsi” album that actually broke all the records in filmmaking and made precedent of new format of music video. 250 of pros from the seven companies of Ukraine, Russia, Belorus and Finland worked on the video – “Znayu Ya”. This masterpiece includes all the new gimmicks of technics and technology: this is the first music mega video, which was shot to be demonstrated in the modern cinema houses in DOLBY DIGITAL format (LUXEN studio, Ruslana’s personal video and sound lab, one of the best in Ukraine and the CIS, it even got the license of Dolby Laboratories Inc., London), the biggest budget and the enormous quantity of technics. There are unique and exclusive helicopter shootings in the Carpathians, modern production effects, fantastic landscapes, and individual character of Hutsul lands. Peculiar hutsul musicians, hot rhythms, dance, which takes you in the whirl of energy and this energy makes your soul sing! This sparkle is in Ruslana’s music. The rhythm of mountains she has taken it and brought it to the stage making it modern and eternal.
